Microneedling

Automated Microneedling is an FDA approved technique in aesthetic medicine used to treat the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improve skin's texture, tone and color. The skin's repair process results in a thicker epidermis and dermis with a softer appearance of wrinkles.

Microneedling - is a relatively new method in cosmetics aimed at the rejuvenation and improvement of skin that allows you to achieve excellent results.

The procedure is performed using a device DermaPen, which impacts on the skin with the help of two factors: the finest microneedle briefly pierce the skin, encouraging the skin to develop its own collagen and self-healing, and formed microchannels, also contribute to a better penetration of therapeutic serums through the epidermal barrier into the deeper layers of the skin.

Indications of the treatment:

  • Anti-aging effect (lifting effect, wrinkles, skin hydration).
  • Alignment of the skin scars.
  • Bleaching hyper pigmented areas.
  • Reduction of rosacea.
  • Reduction of skin pores

FAQ

1What will I look like after the treatment?
Most people will notice redness and mild swelling similar to slight sunburn for 24-48 hours and there may be slight pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. Skin will be noticeably smoother and more radiant within a week or two. Full results will take a few months to appear.
2What does the procedure involve?
It begins with cleaning and numbing the skin. A collagen-stimulating product, Vitamin C serum, and/or skin lightener is also used. A small pen with 12 tiny needles is used to create tiny wounds in the skin. The speed and adjustability of the needles allows for more effective piercing and absorption of skin products. Vitamin-C serum or Hyaluronic acid are used after the procedure to hydrate, heal and protect the skin.
3What is the down time after Medical Microneedling treatment?
Inflammation of the skin is very temporary and reduces greatly within a few hours. It may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after treatment. Using hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help reduce inflammation, and sunscreen can be used to protect the skin. Makeup use should be limited to mineral makeup.
4What are the benefits of Medical Microneedling?
Some of the known benefits of Medical Microneedling include: greatly improves topical cream effectiveness and penetration, stimulates blood circulation and collagen production, needles are non-allergenic, cost effective compared to other resurfacing procedures, works on all skin types, and can treat the scalp, face, and body, including skin around the eyes, mouth and neck.
5What effects does the Medical Microneedling have on the skin?
Medical Microneedling is known to improve many aspects of the skin including, but not limited to: improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, regenerates tissue, improves the appearance of scars, reduces the size of pores, and reduces the appearance of stretch marks.
6How many treatments do I need and how often can Medical Microneedling procedures be repeated?
Micro-needling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks as needed. Collagen induction requires at least 3 treatments, while scar reduction requires between 3 and 6. 4 to 6 weeks should pass between one treatment and the next, and the number of treatments needed depends on individual cases. Micro-needling can be used on all parts of the body. Usually results begin to appear after the first treatment.
