Botox Injections: A Timeless Beauty Enhancement

Botox: Guaranteed Beauty

Having lived a life and being well traveled doesn’t mean that your skin has to reveal its age or experience – at our spa we say farewell to wrinkles and readily embrace gorgeous and radiant skin with Botox injections!

At our beauty spa, we aim to empower all of our clients to feel amazing at all stages of life. Botox injections have the ability to help you look youthful without appearing like a wholly different person.

All of our Botox injection treatments are safely administered by our certified, professional staff who will help you plan out your beauty goals while keeping your comfort in mind.

How Long Does A Botox Procedure Take?

Botox treatment varies in length depending on how many target areas you have in mind and how much skin correction is desired. On average, one treatment takes approximately 15-25 minutes. The injection is performed by a medical professional who is licensed and authorized to administer Botox, with extensive hands-on experience. With our office’s experienced medical aestheticians, and with the help of the industry’s latest techniques and methods, we can ensure that your treatment will be performed in a safe and meticulous manner.

Since there is no downtime (you can even get it done during your lunch break!), no one would even know you have had it done! While Botox injections are a quick and minimally-invasive procedure, final results will not be visible instantly. Your skin will need to adjust to the dosage, so expect anywhere from three days to a week to see improvements. Your results will also depend on your body’s ability to metabolize the components of the injection so results will vary from person to person. Botox injections are virtually painless, with just a small pinch at the injection site, and for your trouble you get to receive results that can last up to five months!

During your consultation, we encourage you to ask any questions you may have to ensure that you have a positive experience. We will walk you through what your session will entail, and give you a best estimate on when you can expect results based on your aesthetic goals.

What Areas Of My Face Are Most Ideal For Botox?

Cheekbones – When correcting cheekbones, aestheticians use the individual characteristics of a person’s face, and their own subtle aesthetic sense, to ensure that the enhanced appearance matches the person’s self-perception.

Chin – The importance of the chin in one’s appearance is often underestimated. Meanwhile, it is a vital part, which influences how fit and fresh the whole face appears. A weak or receding chin doesn’t “maintain” the lower part of the face as well; the facial contour loses shape faster, there is a reduction in the neck angle, wrinkles appear in the form of second and third chins. Contouring of the chin and lower part of the face, when done at the right time, maintains a clear outline and thus allows a person to retain a youthful appearance for years to come.

The Middle Of The Face – There are a number of age-related appearances around this crucial area which are hardly just fine lines–wrinkles and folds in the nasolabial and nasolacrimal areas.

Other Areas Of Correction – We have extensive experience in unique contouring procedures, such as non-surgical rhinoplasty, creating attractive dimples in cheeks and chin, creating a slight youthful plumpness under the end of the eyebrows, removing scarred and pitted tissue on the face and body. Lip contouring remains especially popular.

Risks and Side Effects:

As with any cosmetic treatment, there are risks that are associated with Botox that you should know about. While the occurrences of these risks are rare, it’s important that you’re cognizant of them.

Medical attention should be sought immediately if any of the following are experienced:

  • swallowing difficulties (especially if the platysma muscle has been targeted)
  • dizziness
  • feeling faint
  • speaking difficulties

Some people believe that Botox is a poison, but when applied professionally by trained aestheticians, it is a harmless beauty enhancer, and in small doses it is even therapeutic.

How long does BOTOX last? Is it permanent?

Nothing perfect lasts forever – a Botox cosmetic treatment is not a permanent procedure. Within two or three days after your injections, the muscles that produce frown lines lose their ability to contract. The glamorous effects of Botox last for approximately three months following your injection, and within that time your muscles will be so firm that you’ll struggle to manage a frown. After that, the effect gradually decreases until your muscles relax back to their default state, which can take up to six months after your treatment. After that time, you can repeat your Botox procedure.

If you follow the directions given to you and book your first 3 appointments promptly every 3 months (without waiting in between) you can eventually increase the duration results of each treatment. There are no long term effects.

Can I get Botox Before A Big Event?

Patients often get Botox before an important occasion so that they can look their best. If you are planning to do the same, you should consider getting the treatment done a couple of weeks before your event date.

For example, you can get Botox 3 weeks before a wedding; that leaves you enough time for any swelling and inflammation to subside. If those things happen to occur, it takes about 5 days after your treatment for them to subside.

Before undergoing a Botox injection, please take into consideration that minor swelling of the injection site may occur following your appointment. It is best to plan ahead so that you may schedule your appointments to best align with intended event dates.

Who Shouldn’t Use Botox?

Botox injections should not be administered to pregnant or lactating women, as well as people who have had a previous allergic reaction to the drug or any of its ingredients. If you were allergic to Dysport, then there is a high chance of being allergic to Botox as well because of how similar these drugs are to each other.

Treatment is also not recommended for individuals with thick facial skin, drooping eyelids and ptosis, weakness in the muscles of the injection site, significant facial scarring, and the presence of skin disorders or conditions in the areas where Botox is to be administered. If you have a pre-existing medical condition such as Lambert-Eaton syndrome, Botox may not be suitable for you.Ready to turn back the effects of aging without erasing the amazing memories you have made along the way?
